HTC launch HTC ONE successor next year February

HTC’s long time rumored next generation model of the One smartphone is likely to get launched in the first quarter of 2014. BBC has highlighted UK’s High Court Judge Richard Arnold’s ruling confirming that HTC might launch a new smartphone in UK as early as in February next year.

The document emerged during the ongoing patent infringement case between HTC and Nokia, which debates if HTC has infringed a patent in its upcoming device. As mentioned in the filing, Nokia claimed that HTC would launch the phone in February, which has not been contradicted by HTC, though the Taiwanese smartphone maker confirms that the upcoming smartphone doesn’t use the patent infringing chip.
This confirms that the One’s successor will indeed be launching in early next year, though the company’s spokesperson are reportedly saying to be unaware of any such plan.
