Remove/Disable Unnecessary services
Step 1 : Press Win + R to open the RUN Window. Now just type msconfig in the Run Window and Press enter.

Step 2: Now System Configuration Window will open.In that Window move to the Services tab. There tick the checkbox of the the Hide all Microsoft services. Now the Window will show you the 3rd party software services such as from Adobe update , Google update, Mozilla maintenance service. Now uncheck the services from that list, you don’t need anymore.

Manage Your Startup Programs

Step 1:  Windows startup Manage utility is now moved from Msconfig Windows to Task Manager. Now Open the RUN Window and type taskmgr  and press enter to open the Task manager or right click in the windows taskbar and click Task manager.
Step 2. In Task Manager click the More Details arrow to get the start up and more tabs. Now Move to Start up Tab. There you can see many startup apps you have installed like utorrent, Adobe updater utility,skype. Just click the app and disable that you don’t need to open that when Windows startup.

 Disable Animations and Increase Performance

Windows 8 will animate when you Minimize,Maximize the window and closing the programs. These animations might reduce your system performance significantly. You can disable this animation to get more performance increase from Windows 8.

Step 1:  Now Open the RUN Command Window and type SystemPropertiesAdvanced  and then press enter. It will open the System properties With Advanced Tab. There click the Setting button in the Performance section.
Step 2. Now you will get Performance Options Window. There just untick the checkboxes like I demonstrated in screenshot.

Just copy and paste this in Notepad and save this as registryspeed.reg. Then Open this file and Click yes when UAC dialog opens. After that again click yes to install this settings.

LG has been rumoured to be working on a mini-variant of its flagship smartphone, the G2, believed to be dubbed LG G2 mini. The rumoured device has now allegedly been spotted at a benchmark listing.

The LG G2 mini's alleged GFXbench listing surfaced online via Webtrek, which also claims that the mini-variant of the LG G2 will launch at CES 2014.
According to the leaked benchmark listing, the alleged LG G2 mini will have model number LG D-410, and would be powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU, contrary to an earlier report that suggested the smartphone would run on a Snapdragon 800 chipset.
Further, the listing claims that the alleged LG G2 mini will feature a 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 540x960 (qHD) pixels, which can be considered a huge fall from G2's full-HD display.
Notably, the alleged LG G2 mini is also seen running the latest Android OS version, KitKat, which is said to be releasing for the LG G2 by Q1 2014.
An earlier report had indicated 2GB of RAM for the alleged LG G2 mini, however, it also suggested that the name LG G2 mini is not the official name and could be changed when launched.
Unfortunately, there has been no word on the design of the alleged LG G2 mini, whether it would also feature the power buttons and the volume rocker on the back of the phone, like the G2.
LG might launch the rumoured LG G2 mini at CES 2014, as there have been reports suggesting that the sales of LG G2 have been below expectations. At the time of the report, LG had reportedly sold around 600,000 units of the G2 in South Korea since its launch; internationally the South Korean major sold about 2.3 million units, while the company had set a sales target of 3 million for the G2 globally. However, there has been no official word on the launch of the alleged LG G2 mini.

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Grand 2 in India, with a release in the first week of January. For now, the company has given a price range, and not a price to the Galaxy Grand 2, saying it will be available between Rs. 22,900 and Rs. 24,900.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 is the successor to the Galaxy Grand. The South Korean handset maker launched the Galaxy Grand 2 globally in November this year.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. The Galaxy Grand 2 is a dual-SIM device with support for GSM+GSM. It features a 5.2-inch HD TFT display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels.
The Galaxy Grand 2 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor alongside 1.5GB of RAM. It sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera accompanied by an LED flash. It also houses a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with 8GB inbuilt storage, which is further expandable up to 64GB via microSD card.
Connectivity options on the Galaxy Grand 2 include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB and 3G (HSPA+).
The smartphone measures 146.8x75.3x8.9mm and weighs about 163 grams. The Galaxy Grand 2 packs a 2600mAh battery that can deliver up to 17 hours of talktime, although no standby time detailed.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 will be available in Black, Pink and White colour variants in select regions.
Samsung has decided to pre-load the Galaxy Grand 2 with some of the popular apps seen on flagship smartphones, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3, like Story Album, which can organise pictures by timelines; S Translator, company's proprietary translation service; S Travel, which offers guides and travel details; Samsung Hub, company's own content service that offers access to music, videos and games.
The Galaxy Grand 2 also comes with Group Play, a feature first seen on Galaxy S4, which lets users play music or games together, as well as share documents.

Rumours of new iPhone and iPad models with screen larger than current ones have been doing the rounds for a while now. The latest report indicates that the large screen iPhone 6 may launch sooner than expected.

Digitimes reports citing their sources that the iPhone 6 release is planned for May 2014. The publication in its report says, "Apple is also rumoured to be planning a larger size iPhone for May 2014, using a 20nm processor manufactured by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company."
Digitimes doesn't give any more details on the specifications for the iPhone 6, except that the screen will be 'larger' than one seen on the current generation iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c. We have already seen multiple agencies reporting about the rumoured bigger 5-inch display in Apple iPhone 6.
Earlier, we saw DisplaySearch analyst David Hsieh say that Apple is testing two different screen sizes for its next iPhone. He suggested that the company is testing a 4.7-inch panel with 720x1280 resolution and a 5.7-inch display with full-HD 1080p resolution.
The latest Digitimes report also reignites rumours of an iPad 'pro' with a screen larger than one seen in the current generation iPad Air. It says that the company is looking to target North America's educational market with its larger screen iPad. The rumoured 12.9-inch Apple tablet is rumoured to release in October 2014.
Previously a Chinese publication PadNews (via Apple Insider) reported that Apple could launch the larger iPad (12.9-inch) in April with the 4K ultra-HD variant due in October 2014. The report said that the company is currently testing five different 12.9-inch iPad prototypes made by Foxconn. But it did not specify the resolution of the purported larger iPad models.
Earlier in August, Digitimes reported about Samsung also developing tablets with a 12-inch or larger display. The report said the sources believe that "vendors are trying to create a new market segment to get away from competition from small-size devices."

Steps to run Linux OS from Pen Drive

In this guide, we are going to use LiLi Live USB Creator. Download the LiLi Live USB creator and install it in your Windows computer. It is free and Opensource software and also only 4MB.

Once you start the Application, you may notice the Interface of  Live USB creator is very user-friendly. The app shows all steps to create Live Linux Disk in a single interface with steps.
Step 1:  Connect you USD device in your computer and select the USN drive in the Applications using choose your key option. This app only works with Fat32 file system, so if you have NTFS Pendrive, just format it to Fat 32.
Step 2:  In the next step, you have to select your Linux Distro. There is 3 options available in this Live USB Creator.

• You can choose already downloaded Linux Distro file (ISO,IMG,Zip). Once you choose the file, the Live USB Creator will check the file and give verification message.
• You can choose the Linux CD. Insert the Linux CD in the DVD Drive and choose the same.
• Also, you can download any Linux Distro from the download option. You can choose either Manual or Automatic option to download the Linux Distros. You have to select the download location in your computer.

Step 3: In Persistence step, you must define how much space should be kept free for your files and how it can be busy with the Linux distribution. The persistence allows you to keep your preferences and data even after reboot. If you don’t know how much to give to persistent data, give between 300 MB and 500 MB. If you intend to make a heavy usage of your Linux, choose more than 1 GB. Selecting 0 MB means no persistence, only live mode. Any change made in your Linux will be lost on reboot.
Step 4: In this step, you have 3 options. The Hide Created files option will hide all system files in the Pen drive. Next, the format option will erase all your data in USB drive. The third one “Enable Launching LinuxLive in Windows” will run the Linux OS in Windows
Step 5: Finally, Click the Lighting icon to create . Now, the app will verify all the steps and will extract the ISO file in your Pendrive and make the bootable LiveUSB Linux Disk.
Now, you can boot the Linux Operating system using USB disk option when your computer starts. If you use the Persistent mode, the changes you have made in the Linux will also available in the next reboot. Now, you can use this as a portable Operating system with your files and settings.
